A Word of Explanation About Choice of Name In 1973 when a school was built by the Government, the organization in charge of the school was required to cover the cost of all necessary furniture and equipment. The required sum was quite considerable, and more than we could afford. Then Messrs Chan, members of the family of the late Mr. Chan Sui Ki, kindly offered to provide the furniture and equipment for the school on condition that it was dedicated to the memory of their father. We readily acceded to their request and gave the school the name it now has. The school is linked with the foundation of Chan Sui Ki (La Salle) College, which was also sponsored by Messrs. Chan. |
