Our school is an Anglo-Chinese secondary school for boys. It is managed by the La Salle Brothers. Although our school is a Catholic school, religion is not a criterion used for considering admission.
The history of our school should be traced back to the La Salle College Evening Secondary School in 1964. Our school is named after Mr Chan Sui Ki, a local philanthropist. Since his family hoped to commemorate his great work, they contributed $500,000 in April 1967 to the building of a school that would bear his name. Work began on a new site in December 1968 and our school was officially opened in September 1969.
Our school is an EMI school in which English is used as the medium of instruction for most subjects.
The badge of Chan Sui Ki (La Salle) College has as its motto 'Laus Deo Semper'---Praise God Always---which reminds the school community to give God or their spiritual values the most important place in their lives.
