Tsinghua University Summer Service Learning Programme (10 July – 18 July)

On Sunday 10th July ten (10) students from Form 4 and Form 5 departed Hong Kong for a summer service programme sponsored by Tsinghua University. The La Salle College students will join four groups with teacher advisors and Tsinghua students.

The service immersion programme with Tsinghua University students will involve English language teaching, social survey conducting, and intercultural communication exercises in rural China. This is a unique and enriching opportunity for La Salle College students to discover and understand more about China.

The programme will include excursions to the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, the National Theatre, the Olympic Stadium, Peking Opera, and Chinese Acrobatics.
