La Salle Primary School was established in 1957 to serve as a feeder school to La Salle College. Under the able and wise guidance of its first Headmaster, Brother Henry Pang, it quickly established itself as the leading Catholic Primary School in Kowloon and grew from its original 4 classes to the 36 classes we have today.
A brand new school building was erected in 2002. Bisessionalism was abolished to make way for whole day schooling. The total enrolment is in the region of 1250.
The Redevelopment Project was a mammoth task. Besides providing a school of 36 classes with standard facilities, above standard facilities include a Chapel, a 10-metre high Gymnasium cum Hall, an indoor Swimming Pool, an open-air Football Pitch, a Parking Lot, a Heritage Room, a Library, a Reading Corner, a Campus TV Room, a Science Room, two Computer Rooms, two Language Rooms, two Music Rooms and two Visual Arts Rooms.
La Salle Primary is justifiably proud of its academic and extra-curricular achievements.
Its school badge is very similar to that of La Salle College and the motto 'Fides et Opera' which literally means "Faith and Good Works" reminds the school community that their spiritual values should be manifested in good works.
